Dr. Johnny F. Twymon

Dr. Johnny F. Twymon is a respected pastor, teacher, and community strategist whose leadership has shaped ministries and ministerial networks across Northeast Ohio for more than four decades. He currently serves as the Pastor of The Alpha Missionary Baptist Church, where he was elected in March 2025 following a season of faithful teaching and spiritual guidance. He and his wife, Gail Twymon, have been married for 53 years and are the proud parents of two adult children, John and Natalie, and one cherished granddaughter, Jade.
His son, Pastor John Twymon, continues the family's legacy of ministry, serving faithfully in his own pastoral role alongside his wife, Frankie Twymon.
Dr. Twymon's influence extends beyond the local church. Over 35 years ago, he organized the Northeast Ohio Association of Baptist Ministers and has served as its President since its founding, building unity, accountability, and excellence among clergy across the region.
